PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS

The “The History of Salt” exhibit, (Histoires de sel), presents the history and operations of a salt production site in the 18th century, and leads the way on a journey to discover the “white gold”. The 57 models of the « Ledoux Museum » tell the story of the architect’s life, his building works, and his plans to create the Ideal City. The “Memories of the site” exhibit, (Mémoires du Lieu), bears witness to the fate of the Saltworks site from the closure of the production site up to current times.
